Baal Of Desire Baal Of Desire Ben Stout Acting I Todd McNerney 11-14-96 On Thursday, November 7, I saw a perfor compositionce of Baal, written by Bertolt Brecht and tell by Evan Parry. The mold was not an emotional play, and an intellectual play. It caused the beauty to think about the existentialist genius of Brechts writing and the inherent meaning of the play. Although I have canvass existentialism and followed the play intently, I still could not amply understand what Brecht was trying to say through Baal. My interpretation is that Baal represents man and his desires and what those desires can go bad to.
